Hoisin sauce

Pungent, sweet condiment sauce made of soybeans, spices, chili and sugar. Once opened, store in a jar with tight lid. It has a biting, sweet-spicy flavor. It is used in cooking and as a dipping sauce, usually with meat and poultry dishes. Keeps refrigerated for about 6 months.
