Fifty move rule

A draw may be claimed if no capture or pawn move has occurred in the last fifty moves by either side.


A game can be drawn when fifty moves have been made by each player without a capture or pawn advancement.


A type of draw where both players make 50 moves consecutively without either player advancing a pawn or making a capture.
