Compression

Video coder overload (also buffer overload): Video coder overload is tested using rapid scene cuts, at most only a few frames apart, to stress digital compression systems by presenting them with a video signal that contains little or no temporal redundancy (frame-to-frame correlation). Video for Windows: Microsoft's system-level Windows software architecture that is similar to Apple Computer's QuickTime.
