Phase I Environmental Audit

A preliminary review of potential environmental issues or liabilities for a property. Typically, a Phase I includes a review of public records and a visual examination of the property. The purpose is to identify potential concerns. Testing of suspected contaminants is not part of a standard Phase I Audit. See Phase Ii Environmental Audit.
