Video Output

Connection point of a video or audio/video component that allows a video signal to move out to another component. This entails the signal moving away from the component with the output. A DVD player may have a video output that sends a signal to the television where it connects to the television’s video input. There are several types of video outputs and inputs including S-video connections, RCA connections (which should use a coaxial video cable with a RCA connector not a standard audio RCA cable), F-connections (typical cable television cable), and component video (several cables each of which carry their own signal).
