Topspin

When the tennis ball spins forward. This can cause it to bounce higher as well as dip down quickly.

The ball is stroked from low to high and spins forward. When it bounces, it jumps at your opponent keeping them deep in the court. Topspin allows you to accelerate with out sacrificing control on your shots as well as get good net clearance. Commonly used for groundstrokes and serves.
