Maximum Available Gain

(Gmax) The gain achieved when a transistor is unconditionally stable and the input and output ports are simultaneously conjugately matched. Also designated MAG.


(MAG) Gain at a frequency where the transistor is unconditionally stable (k>1) and the input and output ports are simultaneously, conjugately matched. Also designated: GZ(max), G(max).
