Dish Beamwidth

Every dish and feed system has a "fingerprint," its beam pattern, that describes how signals are received from its surroundings. This pattern depends upon the aperture and accuracy of the dish as well as upon signal frequency. Surface imperfections generally tend to widen the main lobe and increase side lobes.
