(ambushing) 1. v. A command which can be used to target a specific part of your foe's body. Using this command adds 3 seconds to your base RoundTime for the attack and may result in a "fumble," a failed attack.

2. v. To attack an enemy from hiding to inflict greater damage. Characters with substianial ambushing skill will inflict more serious blows when attacking from hiding than when fighting toe-to-toe in the open. Though "ambushing" a target in this manner is often done with the AMBUSH command (see above) to target a sensitive, crucial body part (like the head or neck), using the ATTACK or KILL verb from hiding will also result in increased damage.
