abbv. Base Creature Script. A relatively new programming script used by Game Masters which was used to create all of the most recent creatures. BCS creatures tend to be smarter about their patterns of behavior than creatures created before BCS, though BCS did introduce patterns of behavior in creatures which can be an advantage to a knowledgable hunter. For example, whenever a BCS creature stands up, they go in to their most aggressive stance, making them momentarily vulnerable.
