Tonnarelli

(tondarelli) The Roman word for tondarelli, tonnarelli is another name for Abruzzo's famous maccheroni alla chitarra. They are long, slightly square spaghetti made by hand or industrially, most commonly served with amatriciana sauce, lamb ragù, or a chili pepper-laced tomato sauce.
