Also known as the Knife Butt. The very end of a bowie knife. Many butts and pommels are designed for hammering or bonecrushing. Other butts and pommels are decorative and can contain a lanyard hole. Some knife pommels and butts butts are designed are removable so additional items can be stored in the knife handle.
