Line Conditioner

Electronic device that “cleans” the electricity coming from a wall outlet to be used by audio/video components and protects them from electric spikes and surges. The line conditioner plugs into a standard wall outlet, then the audio/video components are themselves plugged into outlets on the line conditioner. ine conditioners use a variety of filters and electronic devices to monitor the electricity coming in and take out the interference and power irregularities. Since audio/video components rely on power coming from the wall outlet to receive power, it is beneficial to have clean power. This is similar to a car and gasoline. The car will run on dirty, low-octane gas, but it runs better and performs optimally with clean, high-octane fuel. Line conditioners clean up the power so audio/video components get the equivalent of clean, high-octane electricity. n additional and equally important task performed by line conditioners is to protect audio/video components from dangerous surges and spikes in the power such as those caused by lightning strikes. Line conditioners protect valuable equipment from damage by lightning or other power irregularities that can have harmful effects. Any audio/video system should use some sort of reliable surge protection, and a line conditioner offers optimum power performance in addition to vital surge protection.
