RF (Radio Frequency)

Wide frequency range of electromagnetic signals from around 10 kHz (10,000 Hz) to 300 GHz (300,000,000,000 Hz). The radio frequencies are split up into a variety of groupings. The group of frequencies from 88 to 108 MHz (88,000,000 to 108,000,000 Hz) carries FM radio broadcasts. AM radio broadcasts are carried on the spectrum of frequencies from 535 to 1,705 kHz. adio frequencies are modulated using amplitude modulation or frequency modulation in order to carry data. Modulating places a signal onto the radio frequency, which is the carrier. adio frequencies are used for broadcasting audio, broadcasting video, cellular phones, radio telescopes, emergency beacons, satellite signals, and much more. Located above the radio frequency (at higher frequencies still) is the infrared electromagnetic spectrum followed higher yet by the visible light spectrum.
