Touchscreen

Video display screen that when touched uses that touch as an input resulting in the accomplishment of some task. Touchscreens are used in interactive kiosks to enable users to navigate through a series of information without the use of a mouse, keyboard or other device. Touchscreens are graphical and designed for ease of use. They are typically highly customizable. arious high-end learning remote control systems use touchscreens in audio/video systems. Such systems can be programmed to accomplish virtually any function and take the place of all other remote controls in a system. They use touch technology to allow users to touch icons or symbolic images on the screen instead of buttons on a remote control. The screens change based on what component they are controlling allowing extreme flexibility. Also, thanks to their nature of touch and multiple screens, they are able to disseminate information easily and quickly and adjust to control different components and different functions of those components. Many touchscreen remote control systems are also able to control household lighting, motorized curtains, etc. Touchscreens allow the ultimate degree of control, flexibility and ease of use.
