Maximum Anticipated Surface Pressure

The highest pressure calculated to be encountered at the surface of the well. Typically, the "anticipated surface pressure" prediction is obtained by subtracting the hydrostatic pressure exerted by a column of given fluid within the wellbore from the static reservoir pressure. However, the "maximum anticipated surface pressure" prediction assumes that the hydrostatic pressure is derived only from a column of dry gas within the wellbore acting against the static reservoir pressure.
