The primary barrier is the means which allows the coiled tubing and HWO services to be performed in underbalanced conditions. Coiled tubing and HWO service units are designed to operate with surface well pressure present. Therefore, the primary barrier for coiled tubing and HWO services is the "well control stack", which includes the stripper assembly and the multi-ram well control assembly.
