iff, if and only if, ↔

If p and q are two logical propositions, then(pq) is a proposition that is true when both p and q are true, and when both p and q are false. It is logically equivalent to the proposition

( (p q) & (q p) )

and to the proposition

( (p & q) | ((! p) & (!q)) ).
